Visual Studio Community Edition Mac

The most basic edition of Visual Studio, the Community edition, is available free of charge. It is possible to run CIL programs in Linux or Mac OS X using non-Microsoft.NET implementations like Mono and DotGNU.

Hello, I have downloaded and installed Visual Studio for Mac Community Edition for developing Cordova based cross-platform Apps. Vusbbus sys x32 mixer board. But I could not find any option to install Cordova within the VS. You can click the link to view the screenshot during the installation of VS. Generally VS shows a list of components to download but as you can see in the image, there is no option to install Cordova. I have attached the screenshot of the Installation.

So you can click on the link to view it. So, Do let me know if I can get Cordova installed on this VS or not? Thank you in advance. I'm working on a project where I need to convert an existing set of solutions to Visual Studio 2017.

One of those solution has got some Silverlight application in it. Now, I was able to port all those projects to VS 2017 except the Silverlight ones. While I know that Silverlight applications aren't supported from Visual Studio 2017 and the deadline for Silverlight is decided to be in 2021 as per Microsoft, is there a way we can port the application to VS2017 using a workaround. I'm open to suggestions.

I am working on Visual Studio tool for Apache Cordova(In Visual Studio 2015). And I am stuck with the issue with installing 'cordova-plugin-googlemaps'. When I try to install the plugin it get's installed but with error(Due to which it can't get added to platform folder and close to useless.).
