Is there a fix for this? First you need to remove all the Mods, etc.
When you have a clean game play it. If the game plays without mods you have no problem. Install the mods One-at-a-time playing the game before you install the next mod to be sure it plays.

You must have missed the Centre Main Menu choice for MODDING. And obviously the Banner lettering: Modding questions belong in Where you click on the underlined words.
