The 1st batch I did was with my own computer and picked up at this office without a problem. The next batch of photos was something I wasn't in a rush for and it was lucky I wasn't. This was during the time that Costco information got hacked and they were updating their software thus could not make orders online.

I tried using their computers over there which was either completely broken or half broken. I ended up spending half and hour with a touch screen that was clicking everywhere I wasn't touching before it just killed my connection and wouldn't print. Finally got my photos a month later when the online came back. Today another photo needed so I ordered online at night. I placed my order and it said 1 pm next day.

Since I was in the area I stopped by around 11:30 and asked. The guy said the person in the morning called in sick and would need to wait after 1 pm. There was only a person there to help people pick up photos from the day before. Be wary of ordering photos at this Costco. Even though I see my order # in my account and received an email that the order was ready for pick-up at the SF warehouse location, when we went to pick it up, they said they were backed up and running behind.

When we came back a couple hours later, they said they don't have the order in their system at all after even after telling them the order # I was viewing as being in 'ready for pick up' status in my Costco Photo Center account. I spoke to a John who was working the SF photo center on 12/18 at 4:30 PST who simply said they just don't see it in their system and that he couldn't do anything about it. I then spent a half hour on hold with Costco Photo Center corporate who called the SF photo center who changed their story that we had intentionally canceled the order. Costco Corporate said they could not offer any discount on the re-order I had to do or attempt despite me asking. Take your business elsewhere.

It's a shame to learn that when there is a problem, Costco's customer service is so bad. Usually I don't like going out of my way to grab photos here because of the location, but ever since they introduced the online site a few years back, I'd come around when I'm doing some stocking up at the house. Located near the bathroom and the optical kiosk, the photo area has been a staple in Costco for as long as I can remember. Prices are listed above the check out booth and photos can be taken to the right of the counters. Some things to keep in mind are the compatible memory storage you can use if you plan on selecting the photos you want on the onsite computers. These include CDs, USB sticks, SD cards, M2 cards, MS Duo and Micro SDs. It's more convenient to order them online, but you can manage ordering them onsite since everyone and their grandma should have a USB stick and the mental capacity to figure out how to select photos whether they know it or not.

I came here yesterday for a passport photo, which I admit the price is excellent if you're a Costco member. However, the reason for a my low star review is because I feel the gentleman working behind the counter (Patrick, if I recall the name on the work ID correctly) has one of the worst customer service displays I've seen (at least in quite some time). In quick summary, he acts and talks like he's bored with his job and doesn't even want to be there. If that's the case, he should get another job (that is, if he's even capable).
